      How do I review and upload my SKUs's for Target Zero?

      To submit to Target Zero, your SKUs must be in our system. Novi has pre-loaded many SKUs for Target brands. To check if all your SKUs are in the system, click “SKUs” in the left-hand toolbar.

      To upload a single SKU manually:

      1. Click “Add SKUs” then “Manual upload.”


      2. Fill out the form. For the “Product line” field, leave blank. For the “SKU ID,” please use the Target DPCI number. For the “UPC number,” make sure you enter the correct UPC. It should correspond to the correct Target UPC. If your UPC is blank or wrong, you won't receive your icon. For Beauty and Personal Care products, in the “Flavor” and “Fragrance” fields, please select “No” if not applicable to your product (this will not impact your Target Zero participation). Press “Save.”

      To upload a list of SKUs in bulk:

      1. Click “Add SKUs” then “Bulk upload.”

      2. Click the hyperlink to download the bulk upload template.

      3. Fill out the bulk upload template with your SKU information. Use the following guide if needed:
      • Product type: This field is mandatory. Enter “Beauty & Personal Care”, “Food”, or “Other”
      • Product name: This field is mandatory. The name of your SKU.
      • SKU ID: This field is mandatory. Use the Target DPCI number.
      • UPC number: This field is mandatory. Make sure you enter the correct UPC. It should correspond to the correct Target UPC. If your UPC is blank or wrong, you will not receive your icon.
      • For Beauty & Personal Care Product Types only:
        • Intended use: Enter “rinse off” or “leave on” depending on what’s most relevant to your product
        • Intended application: type either “Armpit,” “Bath,” “Body,” “Eye,” “Face,” “Feet,” “Hair,” “Hands,” “Lip,” “Mucosa (Other),” “Nails,” “Nasal,” “Oral,” “Scalp,” or “Supplement” depending on what’s most relevant to your product
        • Product format: type either “Aerosol (Pressurized),” “Bar/Solid,” “Cream/Gel/Lotion/Paste,” “Foam/Mousse,” “Liquid,” “Loose Powder,” “Pressed Powder,” “Pump spray/mists,” “Sheet Mask,” or “Wax/Stick” depending on what’s relevant to your product
        • Additional product details: This field is optional. Enter “Aftershave,” “Baby Care,” “Color Cosmetic,” “Depilatory,” “None,” “Over the Counter (OTC),” “Self-Tanning,” “Sunscreen/SPF Claim,” or “Wound Care” depending on what’s relevant to your product. You may enter more than one value, comma-separated.
        • Flavor: This field is mandatory. “Yes” or “No” if not applicable to your product
        • Fragrance: This field is mandatory. “Yes” or “No” if not applicable to your product
      • Ingredients: This field is optional. Paste your ingredient list, comma-separated.

      4. Click the hyperlink to upload the filled-out bulk upload template or drag and drop the filled-out template to upload it.


      If there are any fields to correct in the spreadsheet, the system will let you know. Make the edits and re-upload the spreadsheet.

      You’re done when you see a list of your SKUs here.
